| | | Burns Night in Conyers, Georgia
We have tentatively planned a Burns Supper at the Celtic Tavern in Conyers, Georgia for an yet-to-be-determined evening in January.
I would like to hear from anyone who wants to come since it's still in the planning stage. (I don't own the place. I just wear kilts!)

I'm interested! On a Friday or a weekend would be preferable.

| | | Things Are Looking Up
This is a really good start. I am thinking--very tentatively--that the 19th or 20th would be best, so let me know about those dates.
Also, I will assume that anyone chiming in here would be willing to take part in the festivities, i.e., recite poetry, address the haggis, address the lassies, etc. We're going to go all out.
I'll be dressed in Prince Charlie, but any attire will be acceptable. We aren't going to stand on formality.
Yours aye.

| | | More info
I suggested to Splash that there is a nice motel within staggerin' distance of the pub, so if anyone wants to spend the night--i.e., drink a wee dram or ten--and not drive, it would be easy for you.
Let me know if you want some motel info.
And again, this is NOT any kind of profit deal for me. I don't get kickbacks, income, or anything other than a good time with good friends. O DO get to hear some divine poetry, but that's it!

Unfortunately I am headed out to Utah for a week of skiing at 00-dark-30 on the 20th and won't retun until the 28th. Hate to miss this first ATL-area kilt night since we have so many kilties around here, but oh well. I'll be taking at least one kilt to Park City - it's the week of the Sundance Film Festival so maybe I can talk Demi into stepping out on Ashton.

I live about 15-20 minutes from Conyers.... You can count me in if I'm in town.
