| | | Burns Night? NO, Burns LUNCH
I just got the OK to have a "Burns Lunch"...haggis, whisky, 'neeps and 'tatties at work in January. My group has about 18 employees, likely about 12 will come. We'll have it in the conference room.
I will dress to kill, serve up haggis and 'neeps and 'tatties and have a little miniature whisky tasting. I will have to supply an "alternate, equally attractive beverage"..probably iced tea for those that don't want whisky. We'll have a little address to the Haggis, an Immortal memory and if I can con one of the lads and lasses at work into doing it, a Toast to the Lasses and the Lasses reply.
This should be a riot.

Sounds like a Grand idea, perhaps a recital of "My Heart is in the Highlands" or another short poem. Best of luck with it.

Good luck!! I did one last year in my office and it was such a sucess that next Friday we're having a St.Andrews Day pot luck (at the request of my Co-workers). I think they like free food and handouts!
Have fun!

Well done, Alan!
Instead of iced tea, though...is there anywhere nearby to get some Irn-Bru?

Awesomeness! Do you have a piper lined up? If I were local, I'd play just to be there.
