Cloudcroft Ren Fair
theres a Ren Fair this summer in Cloudcroft NM. so my SE NM brothers, how bout it? lets get together eh? heres the info: Saturday June 29th, 6:00 p.m. it also runs Sunday but i fugured Sat. would be easier.

Haha. So, I guess this means me then? (I think we're the only two "SE NMers" on XMTS.) I believe that is my turn for "weekend off." But, the week before I will be in Utah for a wedding. So, I'm not sure if we'll be up for heading out of town for that one. We'll see...

Well, if I were still in El Paso I would make the drive up.
But I've relocated to greener pastures. 
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

I spent almost 3 summers visiting my parents in Cloudcroft and never knew about a Ren Fest there. Or should I say when they lived there (10yrs ago), it wasn't started yet. Well have fun!

Whoa!!!! There's a ren faire in Cloudcroft??? When'd that happen???
Sheesh....born and raised in Alamo and there was never anything that cool there....well. other than those mountains...and the desert...and that waterfall just down from the tunnel (if ya don't mind hikin' it)....oh, and Rebecca of course...(Grynn!!! Yeah. LOVE the area, HATE Alamo.)
Well, if I can manage the time off work...I think that might be great roadtrip. Not so sure I can manage the time tho. Regardless, Have fun!!!
