    Delmarva/Phili Kilted Event

Hey everyone, it's Declan. I know that I've tossed the idea out a few times, but here's the official unofficial word:Edit: Saturday, April 23rd, is (Edit: the weekend before) my birthday. There is a good chance that I will be celebrating it with a great night at a pub, to be determined. It may be in Northern DE, it (probably)will be up in Phili, depends on who comes out and if anyone wants to DD.

My question to all the locals: Would anyone be interested in making it a Kilt Night? And if we do, any suggestions on great pubs to go?

Remember that Delaware Pubs don't allow smoking... and that's a HUGE deterrance. Philadelphia has so many GREAT Irish Pubs that know the kilts, that it makes it MUCH for fun to go there.

We can look at the Band Schedules to see who's playing locally, and go from there.

If you are sure about April 30th, I can block that date off on the calander and make sure the wife knows I have something important to do that night 8)

From Philly to Delaware ... anywhere in between works for me. I'll buy the first round.

Oh, it's definitely for April 30th. Location is still TBD, pretty much where ever there is something going down, we'll be there, even if we're the ones responsible for pushing it and laughing

Lol just when i think it is decided...

In all the wisdom of the government, they decide to tell me that I have to be at a conference until late saturday, april 30th.... So, we can either do it the weekend before (either the 22nd or 23rd) or it may have to be a more late in the evening event (like after 10PM or so) personally, I'd prefer the weekend before to allow more time for socializing. what do you guys think?

    Sounds good.

+1 for a Philly area venue. The ewes are more abundant there and ready to be ba-aa-aa-aad.

Unfortunately, my brother is getting married that day and I'm the best man, so no can do for Kelly and I on the 30th... however, we are jonesing to get out. Anyone up for another kilt night either before or after the 30th (the 23rd?)? This is not IN PLACE OF the 30th, but an ADDITION to the 30th.
