One guy in a kilt may turn to two guys in a kilt then four. Talk to the bar owners about giving drinks free (first one anyway) or at least half off to any guy wearing a kilt on any specific night! Stranger things have happened.

A couple of nights ago I found out that one of the guys on the UK group is changing jobs and will be a local boy soon. Here's the really cool part; he currently works for a brewery (as a brewer!) and next Monday he'll be taking over as the sole brewer for a local micro-brewery that has a restaurant/drinking establishment attached.

He mentioned that he was hoping to get kilts accepted as approved work-wear (like he did at his last job), so I'm going to make a point of showing up this Thursday or Friday for a few drinks, to kinda' try and pave the way, so to speak. 8)

I havent gotten caught up on the UK board since my offline sojourn. Who is that that is moving?

I wouldnt be adverse to a kilt night, I'm just never sure of my schedule. Doing an American Wake night like you mentioned elsewhere would be pretty cool though.

I've heard of that pub, they had the kilt contest the weekend of the Pomona Irish Fest (too bad I was working, I know me and my leather would have won...)

I'm actually in Anaheim, near the 91 and Imperial Highway.
