Hello Everyone!
Just a quick note to let everyone know that I am not among the dead! Diabetic yes, losing weight, and not adjusting well to the metformin. Severe headaches and all around feeling of being under the weather.
Anyway Thorfin will be in town on the 19th! I am looking forward to seeing him and anyone else that can make it. I will be working the Airshow next weekend in Millington with the State Guard. I took a grunt position in the Corp of Engineers. I will be doing some pro bono work on our new HQ. We worked the 4th of July celebration, and I had several Vets come up to me and thank me for my Service and Duty! Of course I had to turn around and thank them for Thier Service. I mean I'm just a Guardsman. But, VERY proud to don that uniform! Iwill drop in to chat again when I can get my son away from the computer!

Beuth it is good to hear from you. I've been on Metfromin for a number of years. If I could suggest, as I know others have, exercise daily - walking is a good method, starch is a form of sugar, try whole grains. It is not always easy but you can do it.
