Houston area Kilt night
Is there anything going on in the Houston area around Mid April to mid May? Looks like I'll be missing the Houston Highland Games by one day as I return to Iraq on the 17th of May, but I wouldn't mind getting together with the kilted rabble anytime before that.
Let me know if anyone is interested in a kilt night on any weekend between April 20th to May 16th?

Well ... The Houston Highland Games are May 17-18, and there has been some banter about a kilt night at the Tilted Kilt on that Friday night, the 16th.

Fri, April 18th - Before or after St Thomas Episcopal Scottish Festival at the Toyota Center. Black Lab or Stag's Head Pub for dinner, or Lucky's or Maple Leaf Pub for drinks after.
Sat, May 3 - Sam Houston Festival in Hunstville, evening ceilidh sponsored by Clan McLeod and Clan MacKay.
Fri, May 15 - Highland Games members and attendees get-to-together at host hotel, Crowne Plaza (?) I-10 W at State Hwy 6 North (Addicks Rd). Not too far from Tilted Kilt by auto. In the past, occasional professional piping competition and assorted hospitality in the hotel.
