Actually, Glen, I've always heard it the other way...Robbie, Rabbie (as in The Star of Rabbie Burns), Rob, Rab or even Robin (he referred to himself as Rantin', Rovin' Robin) -- but never Bobby.

What a deal! I'm in!

I work that day and unless I get away early, I'll be arriving late. I will try to scoot out of work to make the 6 PM start time. Driving time with no traffic snarls is 1 1/2 hours.

Mein, do we reserve individually or as a group?

I'm in. Mael, if I'm not mistaken Mein is bowling tonight so there will be no response from him for the next hour or two. I plan on making my own reservation. Look forward to seeing you all.

Yay - I thought I was going to be alone. I wouldn't have gone if by myself.

I'll call them tomorrow and reserve for 3. If there's more respondents on here tomorrow - I'll call them again.

Just in case, their email is royalpubmile at verizon dot net.

Just got off the phone with the Royal Mile, and I'm 13th and 14th on the waiting list for the dinner. Probably not going to dine there, however I'm still up for the kilt night if anyone else is.

Yes Todd I've heard Rob Rab and yes I knew about Robin. I just did not want to overload the poor lad.
