Kilted Limbo in Flagstaff, Arizona

So this Saturday (11/11/06) my local Celtic Society is hosting a kilted limbo contest in downtown Flagstaff (Uptown Billiards at 3pm). Glenfiddich, a sponsor of our annual festival, is introducing their new Gran Reserva - Caribbean Rum Finish single malt. To link the Highlands of Scotland with the islands of the Caribbean, we'll be doing the limbo while kilted. I'll be sure and post some pictures when I come back to the office on Monday.

Drat! I'm already committed to being somewhere else on Saturday (though there's many who think I should be committed, period!)

Sounds like great fun!

If I was able to go, there'd have to be a senior division before I'd enter the contest - no fair us AARP members having to compete with limber young wipper-snappers...

I look forward to the pix!

Jeez, you tease!

My lady would surely love to be there but she's down in Phoenix for a big certification exam.

I'm marching kilted in our local Veteran's Day Parade. Don't know that this 62 year old body could do much limboing...but I'll bet its a hoot!

Do enjoy,

Ron
