Northern Detroit kilt night. Who's up for it?

Checking for interest. There are a few of us from that area and maybe we could get together for a pint or so. The location would be a brew pub called The Dragonmead Brewery on 11 mile and Grossbeck in Warren. Nice place, right off the expressway (696), clean, nonsmoking and the beer is good. They don't have food, but they have a book of menus from places that will deliver. The few times I've been there we had a great time.

If there are a few people interested, I'll try to put a night together an post it here. If not, we can just get together sometime individually.

This is a possibility for me. 1) I have a valid passport 2) I have to deliver a kilt in Windsor at the end of the month.
    So I'm game

I'm in for sure. There is also a new place in downtown Mt. Clemens called THE FULL KILT PUB. I was there this past saturday and the place is great. The wait staff all wear mini kilts by sport kilt and they usually have pipers and drummers. The food was great and they have a huge selection of beers and single malt.

Well now, it sounds like we could do one every so oftern and go to a different location each time.

    What do you think?

    Cool

Brilliant!!! Now all we need is a date. I'm booked for St. Patrick's day and the weekend of April 20th. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    How about March 31.

I may even have a piper that could show up. I'll have to check, he's a friend of a friend... We would also have to check with the pub, to see if it's ok to have a piper play.

That would be perfect. I will do a little recon and see what they'd think about it. I'll check with the two pubs we've mentioned. Great idea Paul.

I'd bet we could find a drummer as well.....
