Poss. kilt night, Chicago in October?

Hoping to be at Great Lakes for my daughters PIR about the second week of October. Interest in a kilt night out? I'll know the correct dates in a few weeks.

I was just at our "Chicago Kilt Central" joint of choice, The Duke of Perth, yesterday afternoon. I was killing time waiting for my daughter who was at some kind of Girls' School of Rock end-of-summer concert. I had a couple of pints but the Saturday Regulars (yes...I know...these are the locals rather than our kilted crowd) were there sucking down Mojito's. Had a brief taste of the bartender's (the cute one with the Betty Page hairdo and the great eyes) Mojito...tres bien! Had I not a belly full of Belhaven's, I would have switched over then and there.

Just to re-inforce the worthiness of The Duke as the pre-eminent Chicago Scottish bar and let the Beeman know what he has to look forward to.

Well, alright! Kalie started P-Week today. I should get the "Official" letter in about 2 weeks time. That will have the date for PIR in it and I'll make plans around that. I'm pretty danged excited to have the chance to meet up with some fellow X-Markers! Hooah!
