    Rathkeltair in Asheville, NC -- Sept. 16th

    I just found out that the Celtic Rock band Rathkeltair will be playing Jack of the Wood in Asheville on Sunday evening, Sept 16th.
    Kilted Ranger and proud member of Clan Donald, USA

    Just got back from the concert...man, these guys rock! Excellent fusion of mod and trad. Catch them if you ever get the chance.

    Yep, yep - they did not disappoint. No pics of the small rabble, but I got a couple of the band that I'll try to post later. Nice to have Freedomlover join our little rabble, even though he couldn't stay for the show.

    I haven't enjoyed myself more in I don't know when. . The first thing I saw when I walked into the place was the bartender in a Utilikilt. That was a dead giveaway that it was going to be a good evening. I was delighted to meet Tartan Hiker and Barclay in person. Genuine nice guys. Wish I could have stayed for the show, but since my work day starts early I can't be up too late on Sunday nights.
