| | | Rochester NY Kilt Night
Anybody up for trying to set up a Rochester/Finger Lakes area Kilt night? I'm sick of being the only Kiltie when I go out.

Try PMing Ugly Bear, Mexipiper, and ... darn it, who else is over there?
Throw out a tenative date and see who's available.
Who knows - if the day is right, a rabble of SOKS might show up.

I'd be willing to make a road trip, depending on the day.

OK, well here's at least a preliminary to a Kilt Night.....
When: St. Paddy's Day
Time: 11:00am - ?????
Where: Flaherty's Three Flags
Macedon, NY
I'll be there with some family and friends for a good part of the day and hope to see some more kilts and to maybe meet a couple new folks.

Well, I'm up for it ... just, well, not at 11:00 am! Sadly, my company still doesn't acknowledge St. Paddy's as an actual holiday, so I'd be there 5:00 at the earliest.
Still, though, lookin' forward to it. I've only seen two other kilties out casually in these parts: one Utilikilt in Best Buy, and one in the Geneseo Wegman's. (Well, plus a few at Dropkick Murphy's last last November. That was a great show.)

I am going to Flogging Molly on Wednesday 3/11 as well (this time kilted).
I am not sure I will still be there at 5pm. My wife and I take St Paddy's Day as a Vacation Day every year yet still drop the kids at daycare for the day. If it's not too rowdy we may bring the kids back for dinner since I have heard they are having step dancers and pipes in the evening.
If we don't connect on the 17th, I'll touch base and we'll try and set something up in the next month or so.

Sorry, But Saint Patrick's Day does not work for me. I actually avoid all the bars on that day. Plus its my work late day!
Let me know any other dates possible? May April or May!

Sorry I missed this thread earlier but I'm certainly up for it. Haven't been to Flaherty's Three Flags but I'm sure I can find it. And it would be great to finally see someone else kilted in the greater Rochester area!
