    SOKS late May.

Victoria day celebrations, break out your best kilt pins (check your history books).

North Carolina's one and only pirate spawn Barclay is coming to Burlington from May 20th - 26th. This has been in discussions since about January. The venue will be Emma's Back Porch over looking beautiful western Lake Ontario. We don't have a perticular day open just yet, this is just a heads up. Let's just try and ensure that Canucks outnumber Yanks 5-1 (Wompet this is 45 minutes - 1 hour away).

I'll do my best to pull my weight.

If do it on Monday I will be there for sure, on the weekend it might be hard but I will try my best. Was thinking about ordering a new kilt pin anyway.

What's the deal on kilt pins? Once the day and time is established, I'll see if it's open. I'd love to go to a kilted party...and how about a few bardic songs thrown in?

Right now Saturday the 26th looks good for me. I'm working nights the rest of the week.
And before anyone says "call in sick," I can't call in sick and then return from Ontario across the bridge I was supposed to be working at, 'kay?
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

We'll let Barclay set the date as he actually has other stuff to do in Canada other than SOKS, 'kay.
