SOKS Late Sept. Kilt Night
I would like to propose a late September SOKS Kilt night, as the Toronto Celtic Fest was rained out, as were a lot of other events this summer. With this in mind I propose the following dates
Friday September 19th,
Thursday, 25th or
Friday the 26th,
We've not been to Emma's Back Porch in a while so perhaps we could make it there if there are no objections.
Let me know what you think of course location and dates are always changeable if the above does not work for everyone.

Well, I'm working the 25th, and on the 26th I'm headed down to PA (my bifurcated brother is in a kilted wedding the next day, and I must get pictures), so - this Friday at Emma's?
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

Well how about this Thursday at Emma's? That way David could make it, what do you think?

I forgot the reason I originally said Friday is that on Thursday the 18th I start Scottish Country Dancing again. So I would rather it was this Friday or sometime next week.

LATE Sept. will see me and mine in Florida...HOWEVER...I've booked the Scottish Rite in Hamilton for Jan. 23 for a SOKS Robbie Burns' supper. I hope that date works for most. We'll start another thread to seek attenders and such...
