    Talking SOKS for September

I'm looking into a SOKS night for September in the St. Catharines/Niagara area.

Is there a preference for which night of the week or in fact a date? Pick a night, and I'll go see what "My Cottage" is like on that night.

Is there a type of bar in which you'd most like to share our kilted rabble?
(Grant just wants a bar with high kilt-check possibilities.) Perhaps a British pub or younger sports bar with pub atmosphere (lots of younger ladies who may be bold enough to kilt-check Grant?) In that line, I'm thinking of "My Cottage" in Port Dalhousie, St. Catharines.
Or, The London Arms at the Pen Centre.

I'll also check out the Highland Tap on Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls.

It sounds like a good idea, if you will be at the games in Fergus we could talk about it there.

The London Arms is a bit more expensive than other bars, and wouldn't have the number of people to kilt-check Grant, but I'll check the pub out. I've been there during the late afternoon into the supper hour. Any preferred night of the week? I'd visit the pub on a similar night to check out possible kilt-check opportunities for Grant. ;p

Pete: What measurements do you need for my ML? If I tell you to make my kilt a 36", would it adjust smaller for 35"? or do I tell you 35" and it'll adjust to 36"? Really, I won't go above a 36" waist...really, Grant. ;) ...now at Grant's age, he may GROW.

Do you still have a L SOKS Tshirt for me?

It depends on the day of the week for me... If it was a Friday night I might be able to leave work early to be there... Than I can spend the night and do some shopping in NOtL. ( meaning i can get my wine gums, and aero candy bars).

Has anyone been to the "Kilt and Clover" in Port Dalhouise, Ontario

I found it once while driving and exploring St. Catherine's, did not have much time to stop.

I have my schedule (theoretically) for the first half of September. If we could narrow it down to a week, I'll see when I should be free.
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

I don't mind the London Arms, but I don't mind checking out the Port Dalhousie location either. Come to think of it... pubs in general are okay with me!

Kilt & Clover actually sounds like we'd be welcome, even appreciated (and kilt checked)...
