Vancouver Area Kilt Night

Where: The Dublin Crossing Pub, Langley, BC.
Location: corner of Fraser Highway and 188th. Ave. (across from where the drive-in used to be)
Band: Kitangus at 9:00 PM

Alright lads, I'm getting tired of reading about all the great kilt nights being held everywhere.

This pub is still new and needs a good invasion of rabble to set them straight.

It's really not that far for the city boys to come out and us suburbanites can establish a place to call our own. Kitangus can really rock the house and the food and beer are exceptional.

If directions are needed, just ask.

I just love directions like this. Where I come from in South Carolina this was common. Of course we all knew where the old barn used to be or where Willis' swiming lake was before the new highway was built.

Don't want to hijack your thread Mike but remember that the next weekend there is Kilt Night in Victoria as part of Kilt Kamp.

Kitangas is also booked for our event so if you find you like the band hitch a ride with them and enjoy them in Victoria.

Hopefully Garath, lead singer/whistle player will be in his new Freedom Kilt.

Steve, part of why I wanted to see them locally is because we had such a great time at the Victoria kilt night in March.

Then when I heard they were going to be at Kilt Kamp, WOOHOO!

Your point about hitching a ride is interesting. Save on ferry fare. I wonder if I'm too old to be a roadie?

I am kind of bummed about all this.

This Friday is the kilt night in Langley and I am heading camping. Next weekend is the kilt night in Victoria and I will be in Kamloops or by myself in Port Moody with the dog. At least the next weekend I get to be a part of the fun at the Highland games.
