Vancouver (BC) Celtic Fest Kilts Night

Vancouver Celtic Fest is this weekend in Downtown Vancouver and I am planning another night/Day out.

We are planning to have a party with the guys from Utilikilts. They will be vending at the Celtic Market during the day and they deserve to have nice meal and drinks at night. We are going to meet at Doolin's Irish Pub at 7PM and we are going to PARTY!!!!! The Management of Doolin's welcomes us with open arms and will give us discount on food and drinks!!

Come down and join us for this party and meet the guys from Utiliclan!

THIS Thursday? Awww crud! All this stuff happens in Great Lent when I get busy with other stuff.

Anyway, tell them that Father Cyprian (three UK originals) says "Hi!"
Hello nurse! Is it time for more meds already? Well, alright, but I'm just in the middle of posting... Ouch! Hey... Ohh!... I... feel... much... calmer... already...

I just realised that I didn't include the date. We are planning to have drinks on the evening of March 14th. It is going to be fun.

Dang! I'll be at the Q.E theater that evening about 6 blocks away for Verdi's Rigoletto- Vancouver Opera's third production of the season. May be I'll drop in after the opera..... Uh yeah, in my P.C. of course. (I always say you can't possibly overdress for the opera.) It should be interesting rubbing elbows with Utilikiltarians in their power (leather) kilts. I fondly remember swapping pirate stories with Steve V himself at a Doolins kilt night a couple of years ago. Might see you Saturday, Raph, but late.

Okay, Saturday's easier. I thought it was going to be the regular first Thursday of the month kilt night thing they do at Doolin's.

    It figures I'd misunderstand!

I'm working 'til 2030 that night but, seeing as my office is about two blocks away, I might swing by for a pint!

    E.
Some Guinness spilt on the barroom floor.
When the pub was closed for the night, a wee brown mouse crawled out of his hole and sat in the pale moonlight.
He lapped the foamy froth from off the floor and back on his haunches he sat,
and all night long you could hear him roar "Bring on the Goddamn cat!"
