Vancouver Kilt Fashion Show - April 5th, 2007
Doolin's Irish Pub in Downtown Vancouver is hosting another Kilt Fashion Show and I will be walking down the catwalk again. It is going to be fun. I am going practice my blue steel face in the next 2 weeks. Or should I practice my Ferrari face?

Good Luck with the Show, Raph.
I too was looking forward to being on that catwalk back in August 2005, when Dave W and I were over there with you all. Unfortunately, it had to be cancelled .......... don't think I can make it back to Vancouver for April 5th this year. What a shame!!
I don't know what you mean by a "blue steel" face or a "Ferrari" face - it's the strut and the pout that matter on the catwalk anyway - but you'll have a great time, I'm sure. Enjoy!

Have a great time at the show Raphael, I am confident it will be a success.
By way of an explanation Hamish, I think Raphael is reffering to a Ben Stiller movie called "Zoolander" Stiller plays a male model named Derek Zoolander
who has been the dominant male model in the industry for three years thanks to his patented "look," Blue Steel.

Reason: spelling
"If the Party could thrust its hand into the past and say this or that even, it never happened—that, surely, was more terrifying than mere torture and death."

I'm SO there! What time do the festivities usually get started at these things?
E.
Some Guinness spilt on the barroom floor.
When the pub was closed for the night, a wee brown mouse crawled out of his hole and sat in the pale moonlight.
He lapped the foamy froth from off the floor and back on his haunches he sat,
and all night long you could hear him roar "Bring on the Goddamn cat!"

The fashion Show is going to be tomorrow and I can't wait to have a pint of Gunniess with friends. Oh yeah, the Canucks will be playing their final home game before their play off run. There are more than one reason to party tomorrow night.
