My local newspaper, The Free Lance Star carried an article today on a distillery nearby in Sperryville that makes a single malt, Wasmund's Single Malt Whiskey.

Anyone interested in doing a kilted tour one Saturday?

Now where did I get the idea that only the spirits distilled in Scotland could be termed "whisky", and others had to use "whiskey"?

According to the article in the FLS they do tours on Saturday. I will email them for more details. Once we set a date, I'll let them know we are coming.

Okay, I’ve heard back from Rick Wasmund. Tours are noon, two and four on the weekends. Saturday, works best for me. I would lean more to noon or 2PM. Rick asked for a little notice when we want to come as he would like to personally be there for us.
