    American Highlander in Texas

Tena koutu (formal greeting, to everyone in Maori)

I'm a professional theatical costumer living in North Texas. I came across this place when I asked some rennie friends for a good place to get information on kilts. At the time a local group was planning on doing "the scottish play" in full kilts. That didn't come to flurition but my rogue caught the scottish bug. He got his first kilt and has since then worn it to most of our formal function, and all of my opening nights. He doesnt' have a full highland formal, but is trying to slowly build it up. Currently he has the kilt, and shoes, then wears a tux shirt, and vest. He has been drooling over getting socks, & flashes, then maybe getting a proper sporan this fall. He just can't decide.

In the mean time I had an opening in my sewing sceduel and he wanted an X-kilt. I'm currently writting a review on the directions for an international pattern review site. Hopefully it will send a few more people your way.

Hello and a warm Celtic from Boston, Massachusetts.
I pray the work continues for you. My nephew in the Big Apple has had a tough go on the costuming gigs lately, as many shows have shortened their runs due to lack of ticket sales.

Hello and welcome from Savannah, GA and a fellow theater pro. I'm the E.D. of a historic theatre here... our website is in my signature line. Our local art college's Perf Arts dept. are doing the Scottish play in here next season... wondering if I can talk them into going full kilt!
