    Another hello from michigan

Hi, well I was at the Ren fest in Michigan this past august and I tried on some modern Kilts. I liked it but the time just wasn't right. I wish I could of done that. His prices were pretty good in the less than 80.00 dollar mark. I believe they were Denim. Does anyone have any good ideas where I can get a modern style Denim Kilt for every day wear?

Kaz! Great to see another Michigander here. Welcome neighbor. Hope you had the chance to see us throwing cabers etc while you were at the fest. For denim and moder kilts check out Freedom Kilts, they are a sponsor here. Click their icon near the top of the page. You might also consider Alt kilts and Got Kilts, however I think Got Kilts was the vendor you may have seen at the fest.

There's also a number of folks here who can help you actually make your own denim kilt. Good luck and hope to see you at this year's games and festivals!

    Hello kaz,

Welcome to XMarks from the other side of the Atlantic in Norfolk, England.

Denim is a twill fabric, but I prefer mine made of wool rather than cotton.
