    Another Hello from Vancouver

Hello all, as a newbie it has been suggested that i introduce myself. I'm from Vancouver and am relatively new to Kilts.

I had a kilt made for me last spring by Westcoast Kilts here in Vancouver. The tartan was milled by DC Dalgliesh Ltd, Dunsdale Mill, in Selkirk, Scotland and then sent here and tailored. My tartan is Birch (Personal) STA 2157, which comes from my mothers side of the family.

I have worn my kilt a good dozen times this year usually at MLS Whitecaps football (soccer) games. As well as Hopscotch (scotch tasting) and to Doolin's pub for kilt nites.

Looking now at getting a Seattle Utility Kilt for more of a day to day thing. Would like suggestions if you think this is the way too go and would love to hear from someone in the same Birch Kilt.

Well that sums it up i guess...Cheerio

Welcome aboard! My wife and were in Vancouver and Victoria, BC in August 2011, for a brief visit. We had a grand time, as this was my 4th or 5th time visiting Vancouver, and a first for my wife, such a lovely area!
