Another Kilted Canadian
I just discovered this site a few days ago in a search for new kilt accessories. I guess I have been nearly a lifelong kilt wearer. The descendant of Scottish immigrants to Canada I wore one as a small boy to Kirk later when I got engaged my parents bought me one to wear at my wedding.I continued to wear the same one for over 30 years thanks to skillful tailors who helped it expand with me. Recently my eldest son Alistair got engaged and I passed it on to him for his wedding and had a new 8 yard traditional strome kilt made for myself. I found this site and had no idea so many others were having such creative fun with kilts.
I think that is why I was so keen to pass mine on to my son. When I look back to all the fun and good times I enjoyed while wearing it I hope that he will get a bit of the same.

Does everyone from Brantford/Hamilton eventually end up in BC? My son is marrying a girl from Tofino and that is where the wedding is.
