Another newbie

been lurking for a little bit, finally registered. Seeing as how I am Scot (Clan Cameron sept Cleireach) and Irish (Clan Uí Drona sept Hayden) with a little german thrown in for beer variety, I have always looked at getting a good kilt and never made the plunge. Now I am seriously considering it and came here for advise.

Of course, being 6'6" and on a budget (aren't we all), I am trying to find something that fits my needs. I want something that i can use both formal and informal, so it is going to be an interesting hunt. Lots of great info on this sight tho.

You'll get lots of good information about where to order on-line but, if you're like me and you enjoy being able to speak to someone in person before you buy, we'll need a bit of information: where do you live? (not your home address but a general area)

(Now that I understand kilts better I feel more comfortable with the idea of buying on-line.)
