    Ey up ducks

    How do all,

New here and in need of some help!

I am getting married next August (2009) and wearing a kilt. Because I cannot afford to buy, I am hiring 3 adult outfits in the Modern Htg MacGregor (the only tartan I can get via mail order).

My problem is this, my nephew who will be paige boy is 4 years old. No hire company that do mail-order, have the same tartan for hire.
I am trying to find a supplier that hires the tartan or somewhere that sells a childs kilt (poly, wool whatever) but within a reasonable price range (upto £40)

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Cheers
    Scotty

    Hi Scotty, and welcome.
We got our 12 year old almost grandson a youth size blackwatch for $30 from Scottish Country Shop. I'd go ahead and purchase the child's kilt. It will probably pay off in the long run. You can always save it for your own bairn. We also bought a MacKenzie infant size for $25, just in case we get a real grand child, so when the day comes we are prepared.

    Welcome to the forum.

You might try The Celtic Croft. They make children's kilts, and are reasonably priced.
