Greetings from another Florida "Highlander"
Greeting Brethern from the vast "mountains" of North Central Florida!
After many years of wanting to do it, I am finally going to get off my ever expanding rear and finally join decent society and have a kilt about my legs!
I am a retired Navy Chief (Aviation Electronics Tech) and am now a Network Admin for a Comm. College here in Gainesville. (Go Gators!!!). Married, two kids and I am an avid Hiker and member of the Florida Trail Association. I am saving the beautiful 70 miles of the trail along the Suwanee River for a kilt hike hopefully this spring. Have lurked here for only a short while and have learned so much already. I hope I will be around for while here.
Slainte,

Welcome. I'm a "newbie" too.
I agree, there is nothing like wearing the kilt on a great hike. Fun to wear them anytime but so easy to wear when on the trail.

Glad you joined our rabble
"If the Party could thrust its hand into the past and say this or that even, it never happened—that, surely, was more terrifying than mere torture and death."
