Greetings from the balmy southeast!
Hello all,
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chad Heckle and I just found this site a couple of days ago. What a fantastic idea! I have been playing the pipes for about 20 years now (started when I was in the fifth grade) and have never looked back. I was in the Seven Pipers Society Pipe band out of Tucson, AZ for a while back in the 90's until I moved, but now, my wife and I have started the process of trying to move back. SO I am pretty siked about that! I live here in Brunswick, GA about an hour south of Savanah. I have just recently recieved my Box pleated kilt from Matt, and now I am about to retire my "Tank" forever as when I got it, it was way to big for me anyway, even though it was custom made (J' Higgins). I am going to a yule log ceremony tonight so I will get some pics and post them. I am now starting a whish list of things that I would want. I am lucky becuase one of my "full Time" jobs is head Piper for the Sea Island Company here. So I get to play the sun down out on the ocean side golf course for an hour 5 to 6 nights a week, and get paid to do it!!
So anyway, Ill be around...
A Happy Christmas to all!!!!

Merry Christmas and Welcome Puddlemuddle from So. Cal.
It's always fun to welcome a new member to the group, you'll find that we are a friendly bunch, and that many have lots of good information about our shared addiction, KILTS!
Of course, I'm still learning but I sure am having fun doing it.
So you have a Tank, that's too big.... hmmm I'm kind of big.... if you think about letting it move to a new home let me know and we'll see if there's a match.
Once again Welcome and Happy!!!!
