    Greetings from Bryan, TX

Hey all! I'm new to this and was actually referred by Barbara Tewksbury after recently purchasing The Art of Kiltmaking. I don't currently wear one, but I've been thinking about it for some time now. My Scots lineage comes from my mom's side (Lindsey - I know, originally spelled Lindsay but who's keeping score?) and my last name is Cheshire...yes...English. Perhaps I hate myself? Regardless, here's wishing you all good cheer!

    Hi JCheshire!
My lineage on my mom's side goes back to King David of Scotland, but my sir name of Hook is pure English. It doesn't mattter! I mean, it's cool that you know yours, but kilts are for everyone, non Scottish or pureblood. Glad to see ya here!
