    Greetings from Central PA

New to the forum and looking to get my first kilt. I'm now attempting to warm my dear wife to the idea of me going kilted. One thing she worries about with me is the general idea that I'm not a Scot. Too much Mahogany in the skin tone. Some people are kinda closed minded. I figure since I'm gaining on 42 I'll just wear what's comfortable. Wore a kilt a few years ago when best man at my buddy's wedding. Got lots of complements even though I now know that I did commit a few "dinnaes", mostly with the tux jacket and hose.
Looking forward to learing a lot from you folk and proudly walking in your ranks.

Welcome from Eastern Washington State. I really like you comment about gaining on 42 and wearing what you want. I'm 62 and do just that. Congratulations on wearing the kilt.

Hello and a warm Celtic from Boston, Massachusetts.
Please note that in Pennsylvania, you have a world class kilt provider in Phoenixville. ( That would be Rocky and Kelly of USA Kilts). Enjoy the forum, pull up a chair and see all the information there is in one place. For kilt ideas, we have pleanty of help from all of the vendors you see here. Each has good customer service and is interested in you having a great kilting experience.
