    Greetings from Lapland!

Yes, I wear trousers at winter, when it goes under -15C. But other times I wear kilts. There is much people here who have never even seen a kilted man alive. Anyway, most people have a really positive reactions. We are now assembling a registered association with my two kilted friends to promote kilt wearing in Finland. Hope we can make it a hit. ;) And nice to be part of this community too.

Welcome to the global Xmarks kilt community. I hope you find things here to help your kilt cravings on those -15 nights. I can't even imagine cold like that, I'd wear trousers too!

Another WELCOME! Glad to hear that you at least wear a kilt when not in the bitter cold! Enjoy and have a laugh or two with all of us here.

    Talking

Actually I wore my kilt today first time in the bar... the comments were only positive. I think the kilt is an accesssory wery unusual to finnish people but in the end they think it is very masculine clothing. No one had any negative comment about it. Even tha very biggest biker dude with pilot jacket and bald head gave me the thumbs up sign. Only negative effect had come from my colleaques. Some of them think I am crazy to wear a kilt. But most of them are thinking positive about it. Im really surprized about the positive effect. I think I will be wearing my kilts the rest of my life now. Really most comfortable and cool accessory. We are also thinking about the registered asssociation now... Bravehearts Finland Ry (Ry = registered association). We will make kilts a real hit in Finland now... thats our goal

P.S. Only positive effect from girls... the pick up line "by the way, at least you have shorter than mine" is a real hit! I suggest!
