Greetings from Maine! I probably should have done this yesterday, but better late than never.

I've always wanted to have and wear a kilt, and now I've finally taken the plunge and purchased one. Granted, it's really for my cousin's wedding, but it's not rented and I don't plan on getting rid of it. Besides, the wife is quite enthusiastic about the whole thing!

I was about to say, "Wear that kilt at every opportunity you can - not just at Weddings and formal events." However, I realise that if you do you will become totally addicted, like the rest of us .......................... and you wouldn't want that now, would you?!!!!!

Thanks for the welcomes, one and all. I'll get a few pics up once I get the item(s).

I will probably wear the kilt more than not. You may or may not know that in Maine, particularly the area where I am, if you beat on any given bush, two or three Scots will tumble out. Individualism (if that is a word at all) is quite big here also, as in Alaska.

I've yet to meet a person from Maine that I didn't like...now I know why.

Maybe it has to be cold for people to realize you don't have to follow the rest of the sheep (no offense to those in warmer climates!). I attribute it to brain freeze.
