Greetings from Music City USA - Nashville
Greetings to the Kilted Community. Kilted for 6-7 months now, and have my
second kilt on the way (plain black). Already have a question. As kilted
clergy, I want to order a clergy fly plaid. Is it acceptable to have my embroidred seminary seal sewn on the "loose" or "fly" end of the plaid?
Looking forward to a great experince as a part of this community !!!

from Ithaca, NY!
As far as embroidery on a fly plaid I really don't know. I don't see why it couldn't be done though. I'm sure someone will be along that is far more knowledgeable about it than I am.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Aloha from your eastern neighbor, western North Carolina (which is the greatest place on Erath)!
I've never seen anything attached to a fly plaid, but thatdoesn't mean it can't be done. Are you thinking of making it into a sort of stole-type thing, or just to show your affiliation with the seminary?
