Hello all, What a great site. I'm a piper in The Finger Lakes Pipe Band (Ithaca, NY) and we wear the Ancient MacKenzie tartan. We're a Grade 4 Competition band. My first kilt is the County Kerry tartan as homage to my Irish roots, however the other side of the family are proud Scots named Harkness. Kate Cushing is a phenomenal kilt-maker of classic training and a fellow band member. Look her up if you're looking for a high quality kilt.
