Greetings from the Piedmont of North Carolina...
Hello all,
I just wanted to intoduce myself the group. I have been lurking here for about a month now and I have really enjoyed all of the opinions and pictures in the forum. I first started thinking of wearing the kilt about two months ago and found Xmarks during my search for information on vendors and customs etc. I have learned so much about the right way to wear a kilt from all af you that I have to say a big THANK YOU.
I just ordered my first kilt from Sport Kilt on Wednesday in Irish Revenge and I can't wait to get it. I am also going to buy one for my brother in law who holds dual Irish/American citizenship. Last night I went to Tir Na Nog in Raleigh and there were about twenty guys wearing kilts, it was really cool. I was of course jealous because I don't have mine yet, but at least I know there is a support group locally.
