Greetings From Tampa!

I am a McLean (MacLean, Maclean, Mclean, etc) and have been a lurker of the tradition since High School, but have taken a greater interest as of late (so much that I finished my first X-kilt 2 days ago.. and I have never worn a kilt before, but man is it fun). And already have in mind to make another X-kilt (either Green w/gold inner pleats or Scarlet w/grey inner pleats). Then I might work a traditional. So far, wife and kids aren't too keen, but oh well... in 4.5 years, the last one is in college and the wife is stuck with me anyways, haha.

Stationed in Tampa for the next year then who knows after that. Glad to finally make the plunge and hope to chat more with fellow Kilters and clans(wo)men.

Hi Cousin,

I grew up in Ft. Myers and lived in St. Pete for a while.

I was working at MacDill Air Force Base right after hurricane Andrew. Man was things hopping then.

Greetings from just south of you! I live in Manatee County, been here nearly all my life. There's a fair number of people on here from around the Tampa area; we'll have to organize to meet sometime!
