    guess it's about time

Hi there, I've been lurking for a bit now, and figured I ought to go ahead and introduce m'self. I'm not quite yet a kiltie, but I'm ordering a SWK in the next day or two here. The majority of my ancestry is Scottish in origin, my last name in particular, and I quite enjoy the culture and history of it. I also just think there's few (if any) more manly garments than the kilt.

Also, I took up playing snare drum with my school's pipe band last semester, and we just received a donation to get the whole band brand-new tailored uniforms, which is pretty nifty if you ask me.

Locationally, I'm floating between school in Michigan, and home in South Carolina right now.
