Hello there!
I'm Scott, from, well, Scotland.
I've probably gained more useful kilt related information from lurking here in the last week or two than I've had in my 45 years living in Scotland.
That's not to say that I won't start giving advice shortly of course.

I was in a fiddler driven rock band myself, some years ago.
Do you need a singer? 
Edit: I suspect everybody worked out that "world-inspired, roots-driven rowdy folk fusion." was a bow to GDub's links? Maybe?
