    Heart of Kilted Dixie Greetings

    Hey everybody,
    I'm from north Alabama and just found this forum. Very cool site.
    I've been wearing a kilt for a couple of years since I started playing in the Highland Games. My first was a Sportkilt in Gordon dress modern tartan, and this year I bought a trad kilt in Davidson. Also got a new Gordon modern Sportkilt and am giving the first kilt to my brother to get him started wearing one.
    I mostly have worn my kilts at games, festivals, and Ren Fairs and I recently joined the local Scottish society so hopefully I'll have more opportunity to wear them. Wearing it to work is out for now, but who knows what the future holds. I usually wear one of the sportkilts around the house all the time as well.

    Anybody else from this area? Maybe we could have a kilt night at a local pub!
