A warm Scottish welcome from middle England.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Re: Hello from Albuquerque, NM
Thanks guys
Kiltedjoss's likeing my "steping away from the herd" crack makes me want to elaborate.
First kilted men are a chick magnets in the US at least. They are attracted to bold, self confident men. A man in a kilt spends fewer nights alone than one who is part of the flock.
Second dressing different than the masses, attracts interesting alive people and repells the dead and bitter. Laugh with me but complain to someone else. Only a select few get to use me as a crying towel.
Both of these I know from first hand experience.
All the guys who wear kilts away from the "kilt as costume" setting know this.

Re: Hello from Albuquerque, NM
Recently, after posting a series on hang drying Utillikits pinned so they come out neat ( fast and easy - no or little pressing) on their facebook page, it seems that the vast majority of the Utilikiltes, at least there, don't mind wearing kilts that look slept in.
It bothers me as it generates in the general public eye a perception of kilts and especially modern kilts as a garb for slovenly teens. Increasing public resistance to kilts.
To my humble opinion Neat and clean, both types of kilt look great on men of all ages and girth.
