    Hello to all from NC

I am new to this and am going to the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. I have thought about trying out some of the events. I am currently looking for Kilts. I am also going to get a set of Bagpipes. I am looking forward to learning more about the Kilt and wearing of them. Do you really have to go Regimental? If not what would be the best undergarment? I may need to warm up to the Idea of my stuff being vulnerable to peekers.
Great I have upset people, not my intentions at all.

Welcome from the hills of the Piedmont of North Carolina. What part of NC do you hail from?

    First, welcome to X-Marks.

No, you don't have to go regimental. Many of us wear dark-colored boxer briefs. Most Highland Games competitors wear athletic shorts under their kilts.

This subject is being discussed in this thread: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...uestion-58221/

No you don't have to go regimental, you can make your own choice, but you will see vigorous debates upon the issue!

Welcome aboard from the other end of the state.

Did your mother teach kindergarten? My teacher then was Mrs. Busey. She was and is a very fine lady.
