Hello from Argentina
Hello to all the forum members.
My name is Patricio and I live in Argentina.
I am a military collector. I have may items, but I specialize in military radios. I am also a ham radio (lw8dbp).
I am also a knife fighting istructor and I wrote a book on that topic, the first spanish book. (El Guardaespaldas Silencioso - The Silent Bodyguard).
I love berets and of course Balmorals.
Some years ago, I imported British made Berets for our Army (Comptom Webb).
And in 2005/2006 I was very lucky to find the Robert Mackie Balmorals. I have 4 of them and still looking for more.
Here in Argentina, I know some guys tha belong to the Scottish Guard.
i am sure I would enyoy reading your post.
Thanks for accepting me here.
Best regards,
Patricio

Hi, Patricio, and welcome to XMTS from the far side of the South Atlantic.
I had my fill of berets when I was a military trainee. I was issued a tam o’shanter the following year and it is still my favourite headgear.
Our officers wore balmorals, and I think they look fine, but they are not my choice of bonnet.
Regards,
Mike
