Hello from Atlanta, Georgia

Hi, My name is Pam and I'm new to this forum-Clan Donnahchaidh, plus a few others with whom I am connected-but I've been reading along in here for a while. I found out about XMarksthescot from a member who is also a member on Ravelry, which we both belong to. I am the moderator on the Kilt Hose and Flashes forum there...which is why I scooted right over here when I heard about this forum! I knit kilt hose and flashes and I love making them for my friend Tommy Hunt-a member of this forum.
I also love all things Scottish as most of my ancestors were Scottish-Okay, I do have a bit of Cherokee Indian mixed in there and only the tiniest bit of English. I've been attending Highland Games since the mid 1990's and I love going to them. It's just wonderful to see the Clans together-very inspiring and it makes me proud to be a part of it all.
I'm looking forward to being a part of this community. I've learned a lot that I didn't know about the kilt and other subjects as well!

from Chicago. There's and active kilted contingent in Atlanta known as Great SEKS. (Greater South Eastern Kilt Society). I had the pleasure of attending one of their kilt nights earlier this year.
