Hello from Grand Blanc,MI (& help with a photo!)

Hello all! I am currently looking at old family photos and came across one that my father insists is my grandfather. I think it's my great aunt in costume. Any help identifying what I have would be greatly appreciated!

Definitely a female in the photo to my eyes!

Welcome, from Inverness-shire. To my tired old eyes the subject looks female and is dressed as a female. However, who am I to argue with your father!

    from South Wales UK!

Looks female to me - that is a pleated skirt with the pleats showing at the front and the hair looks like it's long and tied back.

    Hello redbaybound,

Welcome to XMarks from the middle of Thetford Forest in Norfolk, England. As to the photograph, there isn't anything in it that says 'male', even the stance is feminine.

    Regards

    Chas

Thanks all! Like I said in my above post, I think this is my great aunt but I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me that saw this as female...
