Welcome from Colorado! Any idea what type of kilt you'd like to start with? Lots of experience and input to be had for the asking. You should be able to find the kilt and vendor that will fit your intended use(s).

A huge welcome from Vancouver Canada. To wear a Kilt is great. You will love it and also inform your partner that you will be wearing it as often as you can. There is nothing better for a mans clothing for comfort! Also warn your partner you will get a lot of attention when you are out and about. It may feel a bit odd for you but do it and you will feel like it is part of you.
Congratulations my friend. Wear the kilt with pride.

Welcome from a wee bit west of you near Lake Barkley/Kentucky Lake. I recently ordered my first kilt and am waiting on it to arrive. Cannot wait!

Welcome from a Texas transplant to Kentucky. BTW, am I the only one here stuck out in WESTERN Kentucky?

It's starting to get lonely out here.
