Well you must like guys who wear kilts.

Maybe you should consider wearing one those mini-kilts.
I LOVE guys who wear kilts! They don't even have to be Scottish as long as they wear it with confidence. And it isn't the bare knees that interest me, either, it is the awesome 'maleness' of the garment. Even gay men look macho in a kilt. (to me at least)

And my short skirt days are long gone, except for my husband's eyes only, lol!

Thank you all for your warm welcomes! And hurray for the other Michiganders on board, too! I am really loving the vintage photos people have posted here, and I cried like a baby when I read about the Bagpiper on D-Day, (I also love bagpipes and always have since I was a 'wee' little girl.)

Hi, Aseltym, and welcome to X Marks from the bottom end of Africa.
If wearing a kilt was a prerequisite for joining here, I would be languishing in the dark, because I have not worn one since I left the army in 1977.
But I look forward to owning one in the near future.
I am glad to know that you find the kilt such a masculine garment, though, and I hope to hear that your husband has been persuaded to adopt it as well.
As for you, ladies may wear kilts (without sporrans, please, unless they are band members), but they look much better in skirts (long or short). I particularly like long skirts, especially if they are made of tartan.
Unfortunately my wife has not worn a skirt in years – in fact, a good many women whose pictures appear here are shown in slacks next to their kilted men!
Regards,
Mike
