    Hello from Milwaukee Wisconsin

Hello, although I am new to the kilted community I am not new to the wearing of the kilt. A piper of 23 years I am quite familiar with the kilt and have always looked for a reason the wear it. Although after viewing many of the threads on this site I see that I don’t need a reason. I am currently active in several Scottish organizations and I was even privileged to be one of two men to model the Carolina tartan when the North Carolina Legislature adopted it as the official tartan of the State of North Carolina. I am quite impressed with this community and hope to be a contributing member for some time.

Picture is of me (in my new Robertson hunting kilt) and my grandaughter (3 years old) in her new Pride of Scotland kilt

    Thank, W. A. Reid (Warpiper)

From Chicagoland. Come on down and meet the Chicago rabble next time we have a kilt night.
