Hello from NM
Greetings, stumbled upon this forum when researching kilts. I recently picked up a kilt from SWK. Really like it, but for hiking I wanted something a little different. More like a UK, so long story short found the manual for making an X-Kilt. (Thank you Alan H). I have a little experience sewing from upholstering a couple of cars, so I took a crack at it. I used 4 yards of 4 bucks a yard of a cotton poly blend. Next time I think I need to pay better attention to the taper(or lack of it) at the top. I welcome any advice.

Anyhow, I found thumbing through this forum a great help even before I picked up the tread. Thanks much.

Hi and Welcome from another New Mexico kiltie! Where abouts are you at? I'm down in the bottom right corner that is Hobbs.

There are a few of us. There was a fellow around the forums for a bit from Ruidoso. Haven't seen him in sometime though. There've been a few here and there from Albuquerque as well. Anyhow, welcome again and enjoy.
