Hello from Oklahoma

Hello, I am from Bethany, OK, which is on the west edge of Oklahoma City. I am a tenor drummer in one of the local bag pipe bands. I am in the process of having a kilt made of MacGregor dress tartan, which is what put me in touch with this forum.

I have been retired for almost 12 years now. My hobbies are gardening (flowers) and the pipe band.

Thanks to all for the welcome. Spartan tartan, I play in the Pipes and Drums of the Highlanders of OKC. I was also in the Oklahoma Scottish Pipes and Drums until last year when I gave it up because of health issues. I don't think I'll be going to the Burns Supper this year although quite a few of our bandsmen will attend.

We are supposed to play at the Iron Thistle games in Yukon later this Spring, maybe we can meet up then.
