    Hello from Savannah, Georgia USA

    Greetings fellow kilters! Recently found the site while researching great kilts and "jacobite" dress for a potential ren fair outfit. Been wearing a UK for some time to various events and have a nice US Army tartan dress kilt I've worn to a wedding (groom in kilt, all us groomsmen in kilts, bagpiper playing "The Imperial March" from Star Wars as the bride walked down the aisle, fun all around!). I appear to be a Turnbull on my mothers side, which is really a happy coincidence as I would be wearing kilts regardless.

    Looking forward to absorbing the massive info on this site about the historical garb as well enjoying the modern kilt comradery here.

    Welcome! I lived in Savannah when I was stationed at Ft Stewart back in the '80s. Fantastic city! Hope to visit again before too many years pass....
